For 20 years, Bec has always thought about having her own dog daycare. After working in numerous facilities, and managing most, she knew that when this opportunity arose, she needed to jump on it. Her fiancé DJ also has a love for dogs and agreed with no hesitation that this would be a perfect fit.
Although Dover New Hampshire had been home for many years, moving to Alton was a perfect decision at a perfect time. These two are ready to meet and care for your dogs.
Bec’s dog care experience started in 2003, when a now dear friend took a chance and hired her. This opened her eyes to how her love for dogs could change her career path. She has spent twenty years increasing her knowledge, earning managerial roles and experiencing all the aspects of caring for dogs. Although Labradors are her favorite, and she has been the lab lady of Dover for years, Bec will love any dog that is put in front of her.

DJ has worked in construction for most of his life and thrived as a self-employed carpenter. He can fix anything and is always checking things off the to-do list. He is incredibly supportive with this new adventure.
In the past ten years together, this couple has travelled to Aruba, Panama and to Mexico many times where Bec’s mother resides most of the year. They have attended many concerts, near and far, and are usually up front dancing away. When they met, Bec had 3 dogs, and the guy she was dating at that time said she had too many! Out he went! Dj and Bec grew to a dog family of 5, and sadly lost their 2 oldest in the last few years. With their 3, they have watched many dogs in their home in Dover, and you are sure to see some boarders snuck into their house here! You may also see a new puppy in their lives soon!
They are grateful for this opportunity and will work their hardest to keep the dogs safe, happy and healthy!

We strive to offer a safe and social environment for dogs, from the day play times, to the overnight care. We are committed to every dog that comes here, and will be as communicative as possible with the owners.
About the Bed & Biscuit
The Bed & Biscuit offers a safe and caring place for your dogs to stay and play. Our daycare is fun and a great option for socialization. Bec matches the dogs usually based on size, age and playstyle. Our boarders receive one on one attention, play time with others if friendly, and round the clock care. Your dog may find its way into Bec & DJ’s kitchen, or on to the couch while sleeping over!
Daycare drop off begins at 7:00 AM to 9AM and pick up time is between 3PM and 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday. We can be flexible to a point. If you need to drop off between 6am and 7am, we must know the day before. If you need a 6:15pm pick up time, please let us know at drop off. As this is our business and home, we appreciate your respect for our hours.
Boarding drop off and pick up hours are currently 9am-10am on Saturdays and 4pm-5pm on Sundays. We are willing to be flexible, however cannot guarantee different times than listed. When we are not “open” we are still here for your dogs, and want to provide them with all of our attention.
